sustainable quality and perfor\u00admance at all levels and at all times is the prere\u00adquisite for satis\u00adfactory and high-perfor\u00admance relati\u00adonships over the long&nbsp;term.<\/p>\n<p>And what is one of the crucial elements in gaining approval?<br>\nCompliance with the standards of relevant, certified quality assurance systems, specific quality standards, conformity with environ\u00admental regula\u00adtions, internal process and requi\u00adrement defini\u00adtions, analyses, expert reports, flow charts and frequently many&nbsp;more\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>In this way, we ensure that the requi\u00adre\u00adments, the appli\u00adcable standards and legis\u00adlative framework condi\u00adtions for goods, packaging, security, desti\u00adnation and perfor\u00admance are met and good quality is achieved!<\/p>\n<p>Products that do not meet the specified requi\u00adre\u00adments profile are not eligible for approval from us and therefore cannot be supplied by&nbsp;us.<\/p>\n<p>And because we are aware of the fact that every\u00adthing is constantly evolving and that we are not only keeping up with time, but also conti\u00adnuously improve ourselves, we have our perfor\u00admance develo\u00adpment and the effec\u00adti\u00adveness of our systems and processes subjected to independent regular internal and external audits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Environment \/ Sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We only have this one planet and the respon\u00adsi\u00adbility to protect it, for us who live today as well as for future infrin\u00adge\u00adments of intellectual property (including patents etc.) and will immediately report any infrin\u00adge\u00adments detected by&nbsp;us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tough and fair in competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We do not enter into agree\u00adments with compe\u00adtitors on the prices, condi\u00adtions attached to our goods and services, or the location of our current and future services.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, we do not parti\u00adcipate in any way in practices that appear, even in the slightest, to represent conduct that amounts to unfair compe\u00adtition \/ cartels.<\/p>\n<p>If other market parti\u00adci\u00adpants approach us with prohi\u00adbited requests, we will take a crystal-clear stance as soon as possible and insist that we do not wish to be supplied with relevant infor\u00admation and are unwilling to supply the&nbsp;same.<\/p>\n<p>We expressly object and will immediately terminate (including in cases of doubt) the relati\u00adonship with the party exhibiting objec\u00adtionable conduct and contact the superiors straight away.<\/p>\n<p>All employees of KHB are obliged to behave in this way, no exemp\u00adtions&nbsp;made!<\/p>\n<p>We fully rely on our own expertise in developing our business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anti-Money Laundering \/ Bribery \/ Corruption<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We, the employees of KHB, do not engage in money laundering or terrorist financing, nor do we pay or accept any bribes (whether financial, non-financial or immaterial). All forms of active or passive corruption are banned at&nbsp;KHB.<\/p>\n<p>It is self-evident that we do not support any other parties \/ third parties in these activities!<\/p>\n<p>We actively and promptly pass on any detected warning indicators for inves\u00adti\u00adgation and, where necessary, report any suspi\u00adcious activity to official authorities.<\/p>\n<p>We are imple\u00admenting a autho\u00adri\u00adtative point.<\/p>\n<p>Harassment based on personal charac\u00adte\u00adristics - known as protected charac\u00adte\u00adristics - is illegal in many jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>Even disre\u00adspectful behaviour is illegal or punis\u00adhable in many jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>The ethical values of KHB go far beyond the legal requirements.<\/p>\n<p>At KHB, we aim for a working environment that is free from disre\u00adspectful behaviour or harassment, regardless of whether the behaviour is sanctioned by law or&nbsp;not.<\/p>\n<p>What matters is how the behaviour is understood by the affected person.<\/p>\n<p>Disre\u00adspectful behaviour and harassment takes many forms and are met with zero tolerance at&nbsp;KHB.<\/p>\n<p>Every instance is reported the company\u2019s role models \u2013 because everyone has an important role to&nbsp;play!<\/p>\n<p>Only in this way can we see what we should \u201ctackle\u201d and thereby lift our game even further.<\/p>\n<p>We take advantage of our company\u2019s flat hierar\u00adchies that allow contact persons to directly familiarise themselves with requests.<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to taking each other seriously, we value the opinions of our counterpart, and we count on dialogue because we know that it will lead us to the&nbsp;goal!<\/p>\n<p>Well, there might be a few excep\u00adtions, i.e. things that are suppo\u00adsedly more difficult to communicate.<\/p>\n<p>In such cases we can also address serious or difficult concerns and infor\u00admation at any time, without fear of retaliation \u2013 including anony\u00admously via the whist\u00adle\u00adb\u00adlower&nbsp;box.<\/p>\n<p>If reports are made anony\u00admously, it is important to ensure that the issue is made as clear as possible, because follow up questions cannot be asked in the case of an anonymous report.<br>\nWe expressly emphasise: KHB endorses a policy of zero tolerance for retaliation against anyone who raises their concerns in good&nbsp;faith.<\/p>\n<p>Retaliation means any kind of unfair treatment, whether subtle or obvious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Equal oppor\u00adtu\u00adnities \/ equality \/ no discrimination<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an inter\u00adna\u00adtional company, we enjoy working together internally and externally with people from different regions \/ cultures of the world, and we do so
